My name is Vivien, I’m a software developer and I enjoy sharing my development experiences.
Fascinated by software development and IT, I have embraced .Net years ago. Both professional and personal projects allow me to work with the latest technologies.
I am specialized in Microsoft technologies such as:
C#, Microsoft Azure, ASP.NET 4.6/ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, Android with Xamarin, Windows 10 Universal Windows Platform (UWP), Bing Maps, Entity Framework, etc. To sum up, any technologies around the .Net Framework.
I always try to have fun by doing things that don’t already exist when I develop personal projects. For example a few years ago I have used phones to track cars in the Rally of Burgundy. This has been possible thanks to Microsoft France who lent me 10 Windows Phone. The spectators were able to follow the cars, see speed, in real time with Bing Maps on the rally’s website ribcc.com.
This was a great technical challenge, I even got articles in the newspapers and on the web about it:
As I like doing things myself, I built this website with the following technologies:
- .NET Framework
- ADO.NET Entity Framework
- ASP.NET MVC
- Bootstrap
- jQuery
It is now a CMS with multilingualism capabilities and media management. I will continue to improve it, and it is already a site engine for future projects. If you have any questions about it, don’t hesitate to ask.
